Shot dead in Houston was American rapper Takeoff.


 American rapper Takeoff, also known as Kirshnik Ball, was shot and killed in Houston. Takeoff was a member of the hip-hop group "Migos," along with Quavo and Offset.


Takeoff was injured by a bullet, according to TMZ, as he and Quavo were playing dice at the bowling alley when an altercation occurred and someone started shooting.


He was pronounced dead at the scene of the fatal incident early on Tuesday morning.


The Houston police confirmed the occurrence through a series of tweets, however they withheld the victim's name.

"Downtown officers are on a shooting at 1200 Polk," the police declared. Upon arrival, one victim had already passed away.

"Two more victims were transported in private vehicles to hospitals.


"Media partners, we will not release the victim's identification until his family has been notified and the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences has verified the victim's identity.

The incident will be updated as necessary and posted here.


However, TMZ verified that Takeoff was the incident's fatality.


The newest member of Migos was Takeoff. Offset was his cousin, and Quavo was his uncle.
