Ifeanyi: Police conduct an autopsy, release six housekeepers, and detain two

Two of the eight domestic helpers David Adeleke, nicknamed Davido, of Nigeria invited for questioning about the passing of his three-year-old son Ifeanyi Adeleke, have been detained by the Lagos State Police Command.

Ifeanyi's chef and nanny are the two domestic helpers being held while police start the autopsy process.

The cook and nanny, whose job it was to care for the young boy's wellbeing, have been detained after extensive questioning, according to SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the police spokesperson for Lagos State.

Ifeanyi reportedly died on Monday after drowning in a pool at the singer's home on Banana Island.

The cook reportedly joined them while the nanny was with the toddler. The cook, who also said he had left the three-year-old with the nanny, was left with him after the nanny allegedly left to take a call.

A security guard discovered Ifeanyi in the pool 20 minutes later.

The dead was Davido's only child by Chioma Rowland, his third baby mother.
