Ye has officially returned to Twitter after being banned earlier this month for anti-Semitic and hateful posts. On Sunday, Elon Musk restored access to his account. Musk responded to Ye's first "testing" tweet on November 21 with a message of hope, writing, "Don't kill what ye hate, save what ye love." Ye later tweeted "Shalom," the Hebrew word for peace, as an olive branch to the Jewish community.

Following his previous removal from Twitter and contract terminations with brands such as adidas, Balenciaga, and Gap, it was announced that Ye is set to acquire the conservative social media platform Parler, which bills itself as a place for "uncancelable free speech."
