ID Cabasa, a frontline music producer, told THISDAY over the phone that the gospel singer slumped and died Friday morning in his Lagos home.
According to insiders, Sammie Okposo slumped a few weeks ago.
He could have been suffering from heart problems.
Since his sex scandal, the musician had remained socially isolated, avoided friends, and gone into seclusion.
