Davido will perform at World Cup closing ceremony

Nigerian music star David Adeleke, better known as Davido, is set to perform at the 2022 World Cup closing ceremony in Qatar.

Since the death of his son, Ifeanyi, the music star has remained silent on social media and at events, with the exception of his uncle, Ademola Adeleke's inauguration ceremony.

Stephen Hung, a Chinese businessman, announced the news on his Instagram story on Thursday.

"So happy my bro #davido confirmed he will be performing at the World Cup Qatar closing ceremony," Hung said. I can't wait to see him."

The World Cup's final ceremony will be held on December 18.

Kizz Daniel, a Nigerian singer, also performed at the World Cup, thrilling the audience with his hit song 'Buga' at the World Cup Fans Festival in Qatar.

In the video posted on social media, the excited crowd can be seen dancing and screaming.
