Kizz Daniel to perform at the World Cup in Qatar

The 2022 World Cup in Qatar will include several headliners, including Nigerian musician Kizz Daniel, according to FIFA, the world's governing body of football.

The five official performing artists who will enthrall the millions of spectators at the fan festival event in the Gulf country were announced by the top football associations in a statement on Friday.

The statement reads, "In less than a week, the FIFA World Cup will begin and ignite excitement in Qatar's stadiums."

Five international, award-winning musicians will perform on the Live Stage as part of the FIFA Sound line-up, making the FIFA Fan Festival potentially even more exciting.

The American music producer Diplo is scheduled to perform on November 22. On November 23, Kizz Daniel will bless the football fans with his talents.

On November 29, Canadian Nora Fatehi will dazzle the audience, and on December 1, American Trinidad Cardona will perform.

On December 10, Calvin Harris from Scotland will also command attention.

According to FIFA, “these artistes are all slated to enrich the great programme of the FIFA Fan Festival over the 29 days of the tournament at Doha’s Al Bidda Park, among more than 20 additional top-level entertainers from around the world performing at the event.”

The development comes as an answered prayer to the Nigerian singer who had previously expressed  his desire to perform his hit song 'BUGA 'at the 2022 World Cup.

Reacting to FIFA’s lineup, Daniel said: “When you have a dream, you’ve got to grab it and never let go.

“Let’s all dream together at the FIFA Fan Festival in Doha and make it a once-in-a-lifetime experience!”

The prestigious competition is set to begin on November 20.
