Cristiano Ronaldo agrees £173m deal to join Saudi Arabia side Al-Nassr

Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly agreed to a contract worth £172.9 million per year with Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia.

Manchester United terminated his contract last week in response to his controversial interview with Piers Morgan earlier this month, so the 37-year-old is looking for a new team.

According to Marca, Ronaldo has been offered a two-and-a-half-year contract worth €200 million (£173 million) per season, and has agreed to join the Saudi Arabian team after the World Cup.

Sources close to the former Real Madrid and Juventus superstar, however, insist that no agreement has been reached and that Ronaldo is still focused on the World Cup with his country.

However, according to reports in Spain today, the 'dizzying figures' have been agreed, and the five-time Ballon d'Or winner will play outside Europe for the first time in his career.

Al-Nassr is one of the most successful clubs in Saudi Arabia, having won the country's top flight nine times, the most recent victory coming in 2019.
