50 Cent plans to make his mark on the rap game in 2023 with new music and a slew of projects from his ever-expanding film and television empire.
On Sunday (January 1), the G-Unit mogul took to Instagram to celebrate his good friend Eminem's ongoing success, after the Detroit rap icon reportedly racked up over five billion views on YouTube in 2022, making him the most popular rapper on the platform last year.
In his caption, 50 hinted at releasing new music, as well as TV shows and movies, in the coming year to remind the world that he, too, has it.
“That’s my Boy,” he wrote next to a headline about Em’s YouTube dominance. “Im gonna remind people i’m nice this year. New Music New Tv New movie let’s go! #bransoncognac #lecheminduroi.”
Last summer, 50 Cent revealed his new music plans to The Breakfast Club, saying he has no desire to release another album. Instead, he toyed with the idea of releasing an EP or a soundtrack to one of his numerous TV shows.
"I started working on some things," he told to DJ Envy. "This may not be the final album. It could be divided into something that goes with one of the television shows. However, in terms of creativity... I have all of the necessary vehicles. I've got 25 TV shows."
