It was a blessing to write it. On Rihanna's "Lift Me Up," Tems

Temilade Openiyi, a Nigerian artist better known by her stage name Tems, has expressed gratitude to Rihanna for allowing her to honor Chadwick Boseman, the fallen hero of Black Panther, in the song "Lift Me Up." Remember how Marvel announced earlier this week that Rihanna will release a brand-new song on Friday in support of its next, eagerly awaited movie, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever?

While the Barbadian singer acknowledged Tems' contribution to the tune "Lift Me Up," she also expressed her affection for Tems on Friday on her Twitter page, writing, "It's the pen for me, love to you sistren."

The Try Me singer then thanked Rihanna on her Instagram page and expressed how proud she was to have created the song for one of the most well-known musicians in the world.
