A photograph of the APC presidential candidate meeting with Biden in the United States went viral on social media.
However, Tinubu stated that the viral photograph of him meeting with Biden was a hoax and should be ignored.
Tinubu slams Obidients: Tinubu accused supporters of Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi of disseminating the photograph.
Tinubu said Obi's followers photoshopped the viral photograph, according to Bayo Onanuga, APC PCC Director of Media and Publicity.
"A viral photograph showing Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and US President, Joe Biden in talks at the White House is the latest in a series of misinformation being disseminated by the political opposition," Onanuga told the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN.
"We cannot fathom the intent of the mischief and deception perpetrated by the zealous supporters of Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi."
"The apparently photoshopped image surfaced Tuesday night, following news that Asiwaju will travel abroad this weekend."
So, where is Tinubu? According to Onanuga, Tinubu is in Abuja, not the United States.
Tinubu's next stops: He did, however, confirm that the APC presidential candidate will be visiting the United States this weekend.
He stated that Tinubu was scheduled to travel to Bayelsa for a rally on December 1, 2022.
