'Far From Home' is Nigeria's first Netflix Original young adult series. The limited series, which premiered on December 16th, follows the story of Ishaya Bello, a charismatic teenager and talented artist from a poor family.
When he receives a prestigious scholarship to the country's most exclusive school, he is catapulted into the affluent world of Nigeria's elite. Here, he faces a number of challenges, including a huge secret that threatens Ishaya's newfound status and, ultimately, the safety of his family.
Mike Afolarin, Elma Mbadiwe, Gbubemi Ejeye, Bolanle Ninalowo, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Femi Branch, Genoveva Umeh, Olumide Oworu, Bucci Franklin, Emeka Nwagbaraocha, and Adesua Etomi-Wellington are among the cast members.
