Why I rejected a €350 million deal to quit Manchester United

Cristiano Ronaldo, a forward for Manchester United, has acknowledged he turned down a €350 million offer to depart in the summer.

Ronaldo has reportedly been frantically trying to leave Old Trafford since the summer.

Numerous clubs, including Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Sporting Lisbon, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain, were linked to the 37-year-old.

The unknown Saudi Arabian team made a startling offer to the Portugal captain, which would have made Ronaldo the highest-paid player in history.

Now that he has given his justification, he can decline their approach.

Ronaldo responded to Piers Morgan Uncensored's question regarding the €350 million offer to play in Saudi Arabia for two seasons with, "It's true, absolutely it's true.

"However, the nonsense that the press keeps repeating—that no one wants me—is untrue.

"To be honest, I was pleased to be here, and I was inspired to have a successful season. However, they keep saying that no one wants Cristiano.

"How do they not want a player who had 32 goals for the national team last year?"
