Drake releases a video on New Year's Eve confirming his arrest in Sweden

Drake, the Canadian singer, posted a video on his Instagram account, seemingly confirming reports that he was arrested in Sweden in July of last year. His team has never acknowledged the singer's arrest on marijuana-related charges while partying in a Stockholm club. At the time, the hashtag #FreeDrake went viral, but the singer's representatives told The Hollywood Reporter that Drake was in his hotel, not a police station. However, Drake's most recent post, which was shared just hours after ringing in the New Year, shows him handcuffed.

Two officers accompany the rapper to a police cruiser in the eight-second video. Some of his crew can also be seen walking alongside him.

Drake captioned the post as: "The funds are useful

 The lyrics are truthful

 The suspects are usual

The opps are delusional

The finish line is beautiful

And the disrespect is mutual/

See you in 23."
