Meek Mill, an American rapper, reportedly lost his phone to thieves in Ghana, where he is currently attending the Afronation concert.
Meek Mill went to Ghana for the Afronation concert, where he will be performing as a headliner alongside Nigerian megastar Burna Boy and superstar Asake.
Meek Mill has been spotted riding his motorcycle through the streets of Ghana, attempting to connect with his African roots.
However, his stay in the West African country appears to have ended on a sour note, as his phone was reportedly stolen.
"They pickpocketed me for my phone SMH! Bring that jawn back if you got it" he wrote in the post in which he announced the theft and appealed that his phone is returned.
On Friday, December 30, 2022, news spread across Twitter that Meek Mill's phone had been stolen, and this was confirmed via his Instagram story that his pocket had been picked and his phone had been stolen.
