Qatar University has announced plans to turn Argentina captain Lionel Messi's hotel room into a mini museum during the 2022 World Cup.
According to Qatari news agency QNA, the room, which was reportedly shared with Messi's lifelong friend and former colleague Sergio Aguero towards the end of Argentina's triumphant World Cup campaign, will no longer accept guests.
The seven-time Ballon d'Or winner was instrumental in his country's first World Cup victory in 36 years, and he was named tournament player after scoring twice in the final.
