Nipsey Hussle, a 33-year-old rapper, was shot and killed in Los Angeles three years ago. Today, one of basketball's biggest stars will produce a documentary about his life in order to preserve the musical legacy he left behind in just a few years.
LeBron James announced a collaboration with Maverick Carter's SpringHill Company and Nipsey Hussle's Marathon Films to produce a documentary about the Angeleno rapper.
As is traditional with such documentaries, its value lies not only in presenting the story of Airmiess Joseph Asghedom (Hussle's real name), but in showcasing exclusive, unpublished footage and interviews with other rappers of the caliber of Diddy and Snoop Dogg.
It started in Crenshaw, now the marathon continues. 🏁 Stay tuned for #HUSSLEDoc 💙🙏🏾 @makespringhill #LegendsNeverDie👑 pic.twitter.com/wBKZnikDQ8
